Booking system for pilates instructors

A booking page for your pilates classes, from reformer places to private sessions

Macadamia gives you a booking page where clients can book mat and reformer classes, beginners' courses and private sessions, and buy a class pack or a monthly membership. Each class shows how many places are left, and once it's full, clients can join a waitlist. Payments go through Stripe into your own account.

Free to start. No card needed until you choose a paid plan.

Classes and places

Set the number of places to match your reformers

A booking page: the next few dates as cards, then this week as a list, with a reformer class showing two places left and a mat class full.

Each weekly class has its own price, venue and number of places, so a reformer class can take as many clients as you have reformers. Your booking page shows the next few dates, then this week by day, with the time, price and places left for each class. When a class is full, clients can join the waitlist. If a place comes up, it's held for the first person in line for 24 hours, or for however long you choose, and they're emailed so they can book it.

  • Places left, shown as people book
  • A waitlist that holds the place
  • Classes at more than one venue
  • No app or password for clients

Packs and memberships

Sell class packs and memberships alongside single classes

A ten-class pass with six sessions used, and a monthly membership.

A class pack is a set number of classes paid for up front, such as ten reformer classes, and clients book against it. A pack can cover just the classes you choose, so mat and reformer packs can be sold separately. If a client cancels within your rules, the class goes back on their pack. Monthly memberships are paid by card and renew automatically until they're cancelled. Clients can see their pack balance, upcoming classes and booking history when they log in.

  • Class packs paid up front
  • Cancelled classes returned within your rules
  • Monthly memberships by card
  • Pack balance in each client's login

Private sessions and courses

Run private sessions and beginners' courses as well as classes

The events list in the dashboard: a weekly reformer class, a beginners' course, and private and duet session types, each with its bookings so far.

A beginners' course is a set of dates that clients book and pay for together, and when it ends you can run it again with new dates. Private sessions are appointments booked from the hours you set, and each session type has its own length, price and location. A duet is set up as its own session type and booked by one person. You can hold a client's regular weekly slot for them, and with Google Calendar sync, busy times from the calendars you choose are blocked out on your booking page.

  • Beginners' courses, booked as a whole
  • Private and duet sessions
  • A client's regular weekly slot
  • Google Calendar sync

Plans and prices

Core is £15 a month, and Team is £25

Every plan has the main booking features, so Free is a good way to get started. The paid plans take no commission on your bookings and put the booking page on your own domain without the Macadamia credit, and Team lets other instructors take bookings with their own hours and session types.

  • Free

    £0 a month

4% of online payments, and a small Macadamia credit on your page.

  • Core

    £15 a month

No commission, your own domain and no credit. For one instructor.

  • Team

    £25 a month

Everything in Core, for several instructors.

At around £375 a month in online bookings, Core costs less than Free. Paid plans start with a 30-day trial, and there's no charge until you go live, or 30 days, whichever comes first. Stripe's own card fees apply on every plan.

Questions

The main FAQ covers payments, your data and your domain in more detail.

Can clients join a waitlist when a reformer class is full?

Yes. When a place comes up, it's held for the first person on the waitlist for 24 hours by default, and they're emailed so they can book it.

Do clients get a class back on their pack if they cancel?

Yes, if they cancel within your notice period.

Can I ask about injuries before someone's first class?

Yes. For classes and courses, a health questionnaire can be sent after booking, with the answers kept out of notification emails. Sensitive client records need to be turned on in your privacy settings first.

Can I take bookings for duet sessions?

Yes. A duet is its own session type with its own length and price, and one person books it.
