Macadamia gives you a booking page where clients can book a free discovery call, paid sessions, coaching packages, group programmes, workshops and retreats. Payments go through Stripe into your own account, and for each session or programme you decide whether clients pay in full, in instalments, with a deposit or on the day.

Sessions and calls
Give each kind of session its own length, price and place
Each appointment type has its own length, price and location, and clients book it from the hours you've set. You can reserve time before and after each session, to prepare or write up your notes. A discovery call is an appointment type priced at £0, so a new client can book one without paying anything. With Google Calendar connected, bookings appear in your calendar and your busy times are kept off the booking page. If a client sees you at the same time each week, you can hold that slot for them as a standing appointment.

Programmes and packages
Sell packages and run group programmes alongside your sessions
A coaching package is a number of sessions paid for up front, which the client then books against, and a session cancelled within your rules goes back on the package. A group programme is set up as a course, with a set of dates that clients book and pay for together, and you can run it again later with new dates. Programmes can be paid in instalments, with the card saved at booking and the later payments taken automatically every month or week, as you choose. Workshops and retreats each have their own dates, price and number of places.

Your booking page
A page clients can book from on their phone, using a link you share
Your booking page has its own web address, which you can send to clients directly or link to from a website you already have. Clients choose a session, pick a time from your available hours and pay, without downloading an app or setting a password. You can add your own questions to the booking, such as what they'd like to work on. After booking, each client has their own login where they can see upcoming sessions, check what's left on a package, move a session up to a deadline you set and cancel within your notice period.

Paying
Fees and payment options
You choose how clients pay for each session, package or programme. Card payments go through Stripe into your own account.
Refunds go back to the card, or as credit towards a later session.

Core is £15 a month, and Team is £25
Every plan includes the main booking features, so Free is a good way to start. On a paid plan there's no commission on your bookings, and your booking page can sit on your own domain without the Macadamia credit. Team also lets several coaches or consultants take bookings, each with their own hours.

At around £375 a month in online bookings, Core costs less than Free. Paid plans start with a 30-day trial, and there's no charge until you go live, or 30 days, whichever comes first. Stripe's own card fees apply on every plan.

Can I run my coaching sessions online?
Yes. An appointment type can be online or hybrid, and your meeting link, access code and joining notes go to the client in their confirmation email. Macadamia doesn't create the meeting itself.
Can I see clients online on some days and in person on others?
Yes. Online and in-person sessions can be separate appointment types, each with its own hours, so clients only see the times that fit the kind of session they're booking.
Can I offer a free discovery call?
Yes. An appointment type can be free, so new clients can book a discovery call from the same hours as your paid sessions, without paying.
Can clients see the notes I write about them?
No. Your notes stay in your dashboard, and clients only see their bookings, packages and payment history in their login.
