Booking system for personal trainers

A booking page for your personal training, from 1:1 sessions to bootcamps

Macadamia gives you a booking page where clients can book 1:1 sessions, small group training, bootcamps and online sessions, and buy session packs or a monthly membership. Payments go through Stripe into your own account. If you connect Google Calendar, busy times from the calendars you choose stop clients booking those slots.

Free to start. No card needed until you choose a paid plan.

A kettlebell, a skipping rope and a stopwatch springing out of an opening macadamia shell, in olive and cream.

1:1 sessions

Give each kind of session its own length, price and location

The dashboard list of what you run: session types, a group class and a programme, each with its bookings so far.

Each 1:1 session type has its own length, price and location, whether that's a gym, a park or a client's home. Clients book from the hours you set, and with Google Calendar connected, bookings appear in your calendar and busy times from the calendars you choose are blocked. You can also reserve time before and after each session, for setting up or getting to the next location. You can hold a standing weekly session for a regular client, so the same slot stays booked for them each week. Online session types carry your own meeting link, access code and joining notes in the confirmation email.

  • Session types with their own length and price
  • Gym, park or home as the location
  • Google Calendar sync
  • Standing weekly sessions

Session packs and memberships

Sell session packs, and monthly memberships for group training

A ten-class pass with six sessions used, and a monthly membership.

A session pack is a set number of sessions, such as six or ten, that a client pays for up front and books against. If they cancel within your notice period, the session goes back on their pack. A monthly membership covers the group sessions you choose, and it's paid by card and renews automatically until it's cancelled. Clients can see their pack balance, upcoming sessions and booking history when they log in.

  • Packs paid for up front
  • Cancelled sessions returned to the pack
  • Memberships for group sessions
  • Balances in the client's login

Group training and programmes

Small groups, bootcamps and programmes on the same page

A booking page with the next few dates as cards and this week's sessions as a list, with one group session full.

Small group sessions repeat weekly, each with its own price, number of places and venue. A bootcamp or programme is a set of dates that clients book and pay for together, and you can run it again with new dates once it ends. Your booking page lists the next few dates first, followed by this week's sessions day by day, with times, prices and how many places are left. When a group fills up, clients can join a waitlist, and whoever's first in line is emailed when a place comes free, with the place held for them for 24 hours by default.

  • Weekly small group sessions
  • Bootcamps booked and paid together
  • A waitlist for full groups
  • No app or password for clients

Questions

The main FAQ covers payments, your data and your domain in more detail.

Can a client keep the same slot every week?

Yes. You can hold a standing weekly session for a regular client, so that time stays booked for them.

Can I train clients in different places?

Yes. Each session type has its own location, such as a gym, a park or a client's home. If your hours are different at each location, each one has its own session type.

Can I run online PT sessions?

Yes. An online session type carries your own meeting link, access code and joining notes in the confirmation email. Macadamia doesn't create the meeting itself, so you'd keep using the video service you already have.

Can clients see how many sessions they have left?

Yes. Their login shows what's left on their pack, their upcoming sessions and their booking history.
