Booking system for massage therapists

A booking page for your massage practice, at your clinic or on home visits

Macadamia gives your massage practice a booking page where clients can book treatments of the length they want, at your clinic or at home, and join your group sessions and workshops. Payments go through Stripe into your own account, and for each treatment you decide whether clients pay in full, leave a deposit or pay on the day.

Free to start. No card needed until you choose a paid plan.

Treatments and sessions

Each treatment has its own length and price

The treatments list in the dashboard: 30, 60 and 90 minute massages, a home visit and a workshop, each with its bookings so far.

Each treatment type is an appointment for one client, with its own length, price and location, and it's booked from the hours you set. A 30-minute, 60-minute and 90-minute massage can each be a separate type, listed side by side. If you work from a clinic and also do home visits, each can be its own treatment type, which also lets you keep different hours for each. You can reserve time before and after each treatment, and hold a client's regular weekly slot for them, and run group sessions and workshops with their own dates, prices and places.

  • Treatments of any length
  • Clinic treatments and home visits
  • A client's regular weekly slot
  • Group sessions and workshops

Booking a treatment

Clients choose a treatment and a time from their phone

A booking page: the next few dates as cards, then this week as a list, with one treatment booked and one full.

Your booking page has its own web address, which you can send to clients or link to from your website. Clients pick a treatment and see the times you have free, and if you connect Google Calendar, busy times from the calendars you choose are kept off the page. They book without an app or a password, and for a home visit they can give their address in answer to one of your booking questions. Once they've booked, clients can move their own appointment from their login, up to a deadline you set.

  • Times shown from your own hours
  • Google Calendar sync
  • Address asked for home visits
  • Clients reschedule from their login

Notes and records

Treatment notes kept with each client

An appointment record with prep, session and follow-up notes, and the client's answers from when they booked.

Each appointment has a record with notes for preparation, the treatment itself and follow-up, next to the answers the client gave when they booked. Ongoing notes sit on the client's record along with their bookings, packages and payments. Notes can't be edited or deleted, so a correction is added as a new note and the original stays visible. If you turn on sensitive client records, notes are encrypted and can only be read by you, your admins and the practitioners who see that client.

  • Notes before, during and after
  • The client's booking answers
  • Corrections added, originals kept
  • Encryption for sensitive records

Questions

The main FAQ covers payments, your data and your domain in more detail.

Can a client keep the same time every week?

Yes. You can hold a client's regular weekly slot, so that time stays booked for them.

Can clients see my treatment notes?

No. Clients see their bookings, packages and payments when they log in, but not your notes.

Can I offer home visits?

Yes. A home-visit treatment can ask for the client's address as a booking question, with its own hours, length and price.

Can I leave time to travel between home visits?

Yes. A treatment type can reserve time before and after each appointment, so the next booking can't start until you've had time to get there.
