Booking system for sound baths and breathwork

A booking page for your sound baths, breathwork events, courses and private sessions

Macadamia gives you a booking page where guests can book a place at your sound baths and breathwork sessions, sign up for a series, or book a private session with you. Each event has its own venue and number of places, and payments go through Stripe into your own account.

Free to start. No card needed until you choose a paid plan.

A gong, a singing bowl and soft sound waves rising out of an opening macadamia shell.

Events and venues

Every event has its own venue and number of places

A booking page: the next few sound bath and breathwork dates as cards, then this week as a list, with one session booked and one full.

Each sound bath or breathwork session is set up with its own date, venue, price and number of places, so every event can be somewhere different. Your booking page shows the next few dates, then this week by day, with the time, price and places left for each one. When a session is full, guests can join the waitlist, and if a place comes up it's held for the first person in line, for 24 hours by default, and they're emailed so they can book it. If you change the time or venue, everyone booked is emailed.

  • A venue for each event
  • Places left, shown as people book
  • A waitlist when a session is full
  • Venue changes emailed to everyone booked

Booking questions and paying

Ask the questions you need answered before someone comes

A booking form for a breathwork session with standard and concession tickets, a booking question and a pay button.

Guests can tick your participation terms before they book, with the wording they agreed to kept with the booking. For health questions, such as whether a guest is pregnant or, for breathwork, has epilepsy, a questionnaire can be sent after booking, with the answers kept out of notification emails. Ticket types let you charge different prices for the same session, for example standard and concession, and a ticket type can be priced at £0. A guest can book several places at once, with a name for each person, and pay by card without needing an app or a password.

  • Participation terms ticked at booking
  • Health questionnaires after booking
  • Standard and concession tickets
  • Several guests in one booking

Private sessions and series

Run a series or private sessions alongside your events

The events list in the dashboard: a sound bath, a breathwork series and private sessions, each with its bookings so far.

A series is a set of dates that guests book and pay for together, and when it finishes you can run it again with new dates. Private sessions are appointments for one guest, booked from the hours you set, and each type of session has its own length, price and location. You can also hold a guest's regular weekly slot for them. Each private session has space for your prep, session and follow-up notes, next to the guest's answers from their booking.

  • Series, booked and paid together
  • Private sessions, one to one
  • Length, price and location for each session type
  • Notes for every private session

Plans and prices

Core costs £15 a month and Team costs £25

All the main booking features are on every plan, so Free is a good place to begin. On a paid plan you don't pay commission on bookings, your booking page can use your own domain and the Macadamia credit is removed, and Team lets other practitioners take bookings alongside you.

  • Free

    £0 a month

4% of online payments, and a small Macadamia credit on your page.

  • Core

    £15 a month

No commission, your own domain and no credit. For one practitioner.

  • Team

    £25 a month

Everything in Core, for several practitioners.

At around £375 a month in online bookings, Core costs less than Free. Paid plans start with a 30-day trial, and there's no charge until you go live, or 30 days, whichever comes first. Stripe's own card fees apply on every plan.

Questions

The main FAQ covers payments, your data and your domain in more detail.

Can I take bookings for a weekend retreat?

Yes. A retreat can run over several days with its own price and number of places, and guests can pay a deposit when they book and the balance later.

Can I offer private sessions in more than one location?

Yes. Each type of private session has its own location, so sessions in different places are set up as separate types, each with its own hours.

Who can read my notes on a guest's private sessions?

If you turn on sensitive client records, your notes are encrypted and can only be read by you, your admins and any practitioners who see that guest.

Can I correct a note after I've written it?

Yes, though the original stays in place. Notes can't be edited or deleted, so a correction is added and both stay visible on the guest's record.
