Class break-even calculator

Whether you teach yoga, Pilates or another group class, put in your ticket price and what the room costs, and you’ll see how many people you need before it pays for itself. Then fill a few more mats and see what you’d make.

How people pay

Stripe’s standard UK card fee is 1.5% + 20p a booking. That’s all you’d pay on Macadamia’s Core plan, which is £15 a month.

With 9 people booked, you’d make

£69.58

You cover your costs at 4 people, so what the other 5 pay is yours, before tax.

How we work it out. We add up what your bookings bring in, then take off the room hire, your other costs and any payment fees. Card fees use Stripe’s standard rate for UK cards, which can be a little higher for premium and overseas cards. Costs you pay monthly or yearly, like insurance or training, aren’t included here, so it’s worth leaving a bit of room for those.
