Website design, with booking built in

A website built around your work

Sometimes a template isn't enough. If you'd like a site designed from scratch for what you teach, we'll design and build it with you, on the same platform as the rest of Macadamia. Most start from around £1,000.

Is a bespoke site right for you?

It's probably a good fit if

  • you've outgrown a template and want the site to feel like yours
  • your work needs something a plan doesn't have, like a members' area, a library of recordings or a shop
  • you'd rather hand the design to someone else, and keep changing the words and photos yourself afterwards
  • you have a budget of roughly £1,000 or more

A plan might suit you better if

  • you mainly need people to book and pay, which Core does for £15 a month
  • you're happy picking a style and filling in your own pages. That's Solo, at £19 a month
  • you're just getting going. Free is a perfectly good place to start, and you can come back to this later

What we can build for you

Every site we build runs on the same platform as everything else here, so bookings, payments, passes and your clients’ own login come as standard. On top of that, we design whatever your work needs. Here's the kind of thing people ask for.

A members' area
Content only your members can see, tied to their membership.
A library of recordings
Past classes and courses, for the people who booked them.
Things to buy
Downloadable guides, gift vouchers and other products.
Links to your other tools
Your mailing list, your accounts, or a calendar you already rely on.
Several teachers or venues
Each with their own pages, under one roof.
Something else entirely
If it's something we haven't thought of yet, tell us. Odd requests are often the fun ones.

How it goes

From the first conversation to the day it's yours. Most builds take somewhere between four and eight weeks, mostly depending on how quickly the words and photos come together.

  1. Stage one

    A conversation

We have a call about what you do, who comes to you and what the site has to do. It’s free, and there’s no obligation afterwards.

  2. Stage two

    A written quote

You get a fixed price and a rough timeline in writing, so you know what you're agreeing to before you commit. Half is paid upfront, and half at launch.

  3. Stage three

    Design

We design the main pages and show them to you. You get two rounds of changes before anything gets built.

  4. Stage four

    Build

We build it on Macadamia, set up your classes and payments, and bring your content across.

  5. Stage five

    Launch, and then it's yours

We put it live on your own domain and show you round. From then on you can change the words, photos and timetable yourself, and we’re here if you get stuck.

What it tends to cost

Roughly what you’d spend

Every site is different, so these are starting points rather than prices. The quote you get after our first conversation is the price you pay.

Hosting covers everything in the Studio plan, plus care each month: hosting, backups, updates and small content changes.

  • A simple site for a solo practitionerfrom around £1,000
  • A larger site for a studio, with more pagesfrom around £2,500
  • Something with custom functionality built infrom around £4,000

Plus hosting from £50 a month. We'll give you a proper quote before you commit to anything.

Questions about a bespoke site

What people usually want to know before they get in touch.

How much does a website for a yoga studio cost?

Most start from around £1,000 for a solo teacher, around £2,500 for a studio with more pages, and around £4,000 when there’s custom functionality built in. Hosting is from £50 a month on top. You get a fixed quote before you commit, and that’s the price you pay.

How long does it take?

Usually four to eight weeks from our first call. It mostly depends on how quickly the words and photos come together, and we’ll give you a rough timeline with the quote.

Can you move my existing site and bookings over?

In most cases, yes. We’ll bring your pages and content across, and we can usually move your clients and classes from another booking system too. How much comes across depends on what the old system lets us export, so it helps to tell us which one you use.

Do I own the site?

Your words, photos, client list and domain are yours, and so is the visual design. You can export your data whenever you like. The site itself runs on the Macadamia platform, so it stays live while hosting is in place. If you ever move on, you’re welcome to have the design rebuilt somewhere else, though we can’t export the site itself to another platform.

Tell us about your project

The more you can tell us, the more useful our first reply will be. Rough answers are fine, and anything you’re unsure about can wait for the call.

What do you teach or offer?

Leave it blank if you don't have one yet.

What does the site have to do beyond a booking page?

Pick any that apply, then tell us more below.

What budget do you have in mind?

A rough idea is fine. It helps us suggest the right kind of site, and we'll tell you if a plan would do the job instead.

We’ll reply by email, usually within a working day.
